A book based on the personal life of a young boy brought up in care from the age of seven weeks, to twelve years. Based in three children's homes across Scotland from 1965 to 1977, it take a look at the ups and downs of a boy growing up in state care. Physical, mental and near sexual abuse is covered along with the many good times and those who protected him. Life was never easy during those time, at times fear of retribution for minor faults. With such incidents seen as criminal today.

This book follows on from my first book Twelve Years in Care, followings my journey as I adapt to life outside the care system. and how not all was what I expected.
