After having her son, A.C. struggled to find fun and playful ways to teach lessons and manners. Raising a well-behaved, courteous child was paramount to her and her husband. The singsong format allows the child to easily remember each lesson vignette and even "play" along as their parent reads to them. Eventually, they can practice reading themselves. The fun facts will help teach the importance of conservation, education, and the protection of this amazing species. A.C. lives in Florida with her family. This is her first book.

This second book takes a closer look at our nocturnal friend Aloysius Aye-Aye from the shower scene of my first book, Sophisticated Lemurs. It follows him through a series of various scenarios centering around the importance of hygiene, organization, and self-care. There are plenty of various friends that come along for the ride in this little adventure as well. In time, many of the species will be identified as the series unfolds and clues are discovered. As always, the text is simple to understand for young readers, and the lessons are depicted in a lighthearted manner with comical illustrations that are sure to get the giggles going.

This is a children's book which is appropriate for kids from preschool through early elementary school. It's a play on the song "Hush, Little Baby," but it utilizes characters and rhyming patterns that are appropriate for Halloween. The book is short to keep the attention of little ones, and the sequences build upon each other. The descriptions aren't grossly frightening but instead embody a fun, imaginative feel. The book travels with a little monster and his mom as they go through the neighborhood to get candy on Halloween night. Each neighbor is a fellow monster and character in the book.
