I Will Raise My Voice! Poetry for the Beautifully Broken, is a collection of poems spanning the author's young and middle-adult years. Her hope is that reading these poems will allow you to feel like you are having coffee with a close friend. The conversation is intimate, sometimes deep and challenging, but comfortable. In times of her own brokenness, grief, frustration, questioning, revelation, joy, childlike wonder, hope, and prayer, poetry was both a therapy and outlet. Marveling at all God had done and hoping in what He is yet to do.In the words she found healing. In sharing she was given hope. In discovery, she learned she had a voice. Inspired and encouraged in her walk with Jesus, Tracy was challenged to share her story through her poetry. Raising her voice to inspire and encourage others to hope in their brokenness and find beauty there.

Arroyo Seco Press' Blue Book chapbook series. No frills chapbooks of Poetry, Memoir, Fiction, and more. After stints in staff positions at a couple of daily newspapers, Ranney Campbell became a freelancer, including spot news reporting for Reuters International News Agency and a decade as the St. Louis County election night stringer for the Associated Press, but in late 2015, a stranger on the street assaulted her with a hammer as she walked in her neighborhood in South St. Louis, resulting in a nearly life-ending brain injury. Nine months after the attack, Campbell began a creative writing MFA at UM-St. Louis, weighted heavily in theory, and finished frantically. She then sold her house for cash to the pleasantly-surprised developers working next door for half of its appraised value and nearly reached the Texas border on her way to California before her own graduate reading-which, clearly, she skipped-was over. She since has worked in warehouses on-and-off and authored the poetry chapbooks, "Pimp," "Charcoal and Ink," (Arroyo Seco Press) and "the desert so," (Bottlecap Press) and, more recently, has regained some of her ability to write prose, the product of which has been published by Twelve Winters, Star 82 Review, Reed Magazine and elsewhere. At the time of this writing, she still is breathing, and still in California, where she steadfastly practices a twice daily meditation routine and a newly acquired refusal to be made use of.
Love is light that illuminates our life on days when our heart turns dark, thus in these poems I've immortalised what I felt when I read love-themed poems, love stories, watched romantic scenes on the screen, or all of these love songs I've heard, so as to never forget Love.
Misso Francis' TICKLISH TICKLES is a collection of exotic poems served in three plates. The poems in Ray of Blue began to shape themselves from the radiance of fullness in the first weeks of the global shutdown in March 2020 brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. Their source didn't change while humanity confronted, for the first time, its fragility and excesses as a global communal event. These poems arrived as messages from the supreme source of strength and balance. These poems are transcripts of spiritual insights and revelations, which came to me while meditating. Some of the poems are flush with symbolism and rhetorical flourishes while others are plain and didactic. Some arose as multihued jewels from the flaming treasury of the divine consciousness while others reveal truths unadorned with imagery whispered by the supreme teacher within. The verbal jewels appeared on my computer screen as they arose within me with little elaboration. In the didactic poems, I explore a meditative insight in order to amplify its wisdom. To see these poems as revelation is to use a religious expression to suggest that poetry, in its most exalted performances, is a prophetic medium. Poetry is the seeing of the seers and the hearing of the hearers. Whether the poetry of revelation is labeled as poetry or scripture, it is a transmission from the innermost depths of Being. As such, poetry moves on lines of transmission that philosophy at its most intense sees only as a mystery arising on the other shore of its most skilled analyses. And to such heights, science cannot attain, unless it rides upon a chastened philosophy with a humble openness toward those sacred depths, which open their gates only to hearts and minds tutored in devotion and surrender to what ultimately is. I have discovered that I can prime the pump of intuitive revelation by using metrical forms. In The Cloud Stairs, I wrote lines of eight syllables, as is usual in much of Sanskrit poetry (but without noting stress). I have found that waiting for words to arrive under this limitation stills the mind and chastens its fabulist movements. Soon, with the void of silence, syllables appear as revelations of the primordial wisdom, which has guided us from before the dawn of consciousness.Because I am a seer and hearer before I am a poet, the content of the revelatory and visionary seeing that evokes these poems is primary. More important for me than the poetic virtues of these poems is their visionary content. Sometimes poetic skill and revealed imagery converge, while at other times the visionary element is stronger than the words. I let these poems stand because the revealed content overrides the weaknesses of form and style. There is a mystical undercurrent in much poetry, which is a twofold way of using language, first to strip language of its familiar conventional forms, and second, to strip language of itself. This process of linguistic purification allows for verbal free sailing into whatever it is that ultimately is. This is exhilarating when it happens-when reading Zhuangzi and the Upaniṣads, for example. These poems are vehicles for the mind to rise in flight to Spirit, to Brahman, to the Dao, to God, and to the Self. Attend to their imagery in reverent attention until the divine light awakens in you and restores you to unity with itself.

His poetry may bloom into more insight. Many can be weird or somewhat puzzling. The mental disorder has shaped him.

Found in a battered leather notebook, these poems are the remnants of an expedition to the legendary Blatherhorn Vale. Cut off from human contact, the creatures of this mysterious land are nothing more than rumors. At this time, we cannot determine if the notebook holds the lost ramblings of a madman. You be the judge.

Keeping it Together I love movies. Not all movies but many. I have a particular fondness for movies with a rogue main character who does the right thing despite having desires that would take him (or her) elsewhere. (Think Casablanca.) What really fascinates me about movie production is that the stars are what everyone focuses on but when the credits roll by, there are dozens of names. Most of these people would never be recognized walking on the streets of Hollywood, New York, Mumbai, or Montreal. They are the grout that holds the whole thing together. It is easy to notice the tiles on the floor or the pieces of a mosaic on the wall. They are the stars of the show. However, without the grouting that holds them all in place, the floor cracks and the mosaic falls apart. Much of the details of life are handled by unseen people. The prep cook in the kitchen, the bus company maintenance technicians and payroll clerks, the baggage handlers sweating it out at Heathrow, LaGuardia, or Pearson, the assembly line of nimble-fingered people putting our latest mobile devices together, billions of people just doing what they can to stay alive and feed their families. As I travel the world and wander from place to place, I enjoy finding busy cafés, putting myself into a quiet corner, and watching people. I find the lives of "ordinary" people compelling. There is really nothing ordinary. It is all special. Each of us is made of the same basic elements: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and sulfur (the bulk elements), and a little sodium, magnesium, potassium, calcium, chlorine, and phosphorus (the macrominerals). Literally, stardust. Somehow, magic happens, life sparks and we hear babies cry, children laugh, parents dream, and widows cry. Books are written, movies produced, plays played, music explodes from stages and boomboxes - yet all of it wrapped around the miracle of ordinary lives. My poetry is a tribute to the humbler moments in life. There is beauty in the lines of grout that keep the shiny tiles in place. There is heroism in doing a simple job as well as one can. There is courage in waking up every morning and doing that thing that feed your children. There was a time when I would look to the movie stars, the millionaires, the public figures and think, oh to be like them and live that life. I no longer do that. Of course, I admire success, but I now know that behind every public celebrity are hordes of people who are working hard to make it all appear like magic. As I write this, I am aware that so many lives have been welded together to make this device I am using, to create a network that connects me to world, to maintain the taxi I will take later, who assembled the airplane I will board, who grew the food I will eat onboard, so many lives, and so much energy, all connected to each other. We really are one world. What keeps us apart is important to see but it is less important that what keeps us together. I thank you for taking the time to read this work. I am so pleased that you have included me on your journey through this life. Hope you enjoy. All my best, Peter
