Creative team Mark Penta (illustrator) and T.M. Murphy (writer) are childhood friends who co-created the Totally Weird Activity Books as a way to get kids creating.Origins of this series was in a self-published title, “Wicked Weird Story Starters,” in 2014.Author T.M. Murphy has written books for children and teaches at Boston College; lives in Falmouth, MA.Illustrator Mark Penta is an author, caricaturist, and illustrator who has taught at RISD and MassBay; he lives in Framingham, MA.Unusual Objects in Peculiar Places is the second story starters book in the Totally Weird Activity Books series; first two releases in Fall 2022 are Super Strange Story Starters and Creative Coloring and Far-Out Fun.
