In Book 3 the battle for America rages on. John and his fellow partisans evolve from a rag-tag group of rebels into an organized force. Using classic guerrilla war tactics the resistance forces attack Russian air bases, but are set up. Could there be a traitor in their ranks? What sort of person could betray their fellow Americans?

Book 4 marks a turning point for the American rebels in their fight against the invading Russians. After an ambush the rebels discover cases of Strela missiles. These Arrows, shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles change how the partisans operate-however, it is the discovery of two suitcase nukes that is about to change this war dramatically.

Americans continue to fight against the Russians advance, their forces are becoming more organized and better equipped. A devastating drone attack against their leadership forces their hand, they must decentralize the resistance into more areas of the U.S. John's task is simple, turn up the heat and make the area into hell for the occupiers.

Dazed and disoriented, John awakens in a field hospital somewhere in Louisiana. His last mission to capture and detonate a Russian suitcase nuke left him seriously wounded and unclear about the mission's ultimate outcome.

In Book 8 the vicious fight against the Russian invaders continues... John works closely with his Chinese allies to hit back hard against the occupiers. Their air assets prove to be a powerful addition to the resistance efforts. But the physical toll is wearing him down: the life of a guerrilla fighter is hard, cold and often brutishly short.
