After the disastrous mission to Uronda in the season four episode "The Other Side", tensions within SG-1 reach breaking point. When Colonel Jack O 'Neill and Dr Daniel Jackson are captured, during a mission to recruit informants among Goa'uld slaves, the conflict that began on Uronda threatens their only hope of escape.

Colonel Simmons is running a secret operation to create human Jaffa warriors to fight the Goa'uld. When Major Carter, Teal'c and Dr Janet Frasier stumble across the operation at an off-world training centre, they are abducted and whisked away. It's left to Colonel Jack O'Neill and Dr Daniel Jackson to mount a rescue operation.

Bounty-hunter, Aris Boch, once more has his sights on SG-1. But, this time Boch isn't interested in trading them for cash.
