Ever since childhood I dreamed of meeting rock stars and I was given that opportunity by the then newly formed Scene Magazine at the ripe old age of sixteen. I went on to become a recurring columnist with Lake County News Herald paper interviewing celebrities, wrote for the White House, VH1, several websites and have written over 30 books.

The story is about a young Black kid who had a dream of becoming a professional orchestra conductor. I grew up in a low-income area of Pittsburgh where three steel mills were within a mile radius of my home. The B&O railroad ran through the community, so the young men worked in the mill or on the railroad. I had a different dream than most of the other kids. I knew in 8th grade that I wanted to be a professional orchestra conductor, by then I was very good on the violin and the viola. My community was a sports town and football was king, so I became an outstanding athlete in football and baseball. My teachers always told me that there was no one in that industry that looks like me, so it was a challenge most of the time. The book is about a young Black man who had a dream and all the trials and tribulations that he had to go through to achieve that dream.

Es arreglista y compositor de obras que van desde lo clásico hasta el jazz moderno, y que han sido interpretadas en países como Estados Unidos, Francia, Alemania, Uruguay, Bolivia, Perú, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Venezuela, México, y Colombia, entre otros.Es profesor en las carreras Licenciatura en Música y Maestro en Música de la Universidad de Caldas en Manizales/Colombia, y a su cargo han estado las cátedras de composición, orquestación, taller instrumental, formas musicales, armonía, contrapunto y fuga, música de cámara, improvisación, teoría del jazz, y guitarra eléctrica con énfasis en Jazz, entre otras.En 2014 publica éste, su primer libro titulado "Teoría del Jazz", y en 2020 su segundo libro titulado "Método de Orquestación Sinfónica".Ha sido compositor, arreglista, y productor, para reconocidas agrupaciones y solistas importantes del país en términos de música clásica, música latinoamericana, y jazz.
