This book takes the ethos of the first volume and applies it to the whole planet - to our savannas, forests, deserts, mountains, oceans and polar regions. Jonathan and Angela's intention is to reveal the wonder and beauty of our world, instilling a sense of awe and concern for its well being. In 2016 Jonathan and Angela Scott published their award-winning book Sacred Nature: Life's Eternal Dance (HPH Publishing 9780994692405). This book, the standard edition of which is now out of print, was Angela's vision brought to life by the artistry of their son David's design work. The book was met with overwhelming success and won Gold in the 2017 Independent Publishers awards (IPPY) for Photography. Volume 1 centred around a place close to the Scotts' hearts -the vast Mara-Serengeti ecosystem in East Africa where they have spent much of the past forty years, somewhere they describe as The Last Place on Earth. Hauptman sometimes uses digital manipulation not to make pictures that looks unreal but to attempt to depict mysteries of time and space. A former photo assistant of Richard Burbridge, Michael Hauptman has been taking pictures and living in New York City for the last 15 years.

Orbital Planes: A Personal Vision of the Space Shuttle is Roland MillerâEUR(TM)s intimate photographic view of the Space Shuttle Program. A unique collection of imagery, the book explores the Space Shuttle orbitersâEUR"both inside and outâEUR"along with related facilities including rocket engine test sites, Solid Rocket Booster and External Tank manufacturing facilities, orbiter manufacturing and maintenance facilities, launch sites, and more. Miller photographed the Space Shuttle starting in 1988. He began his focused work for Orbital Planes in 2008 and continued for the duration of the Space Shuttle Program through the decommissioning of the orbiters. Orbital Planes is part artistic invention, part space archaeology, and part historic documentation. Through a combination of documentary and abstract photographs made around the United States, Orbital Planes tells an expansive story of the Space Shuttle Program in a visually arresting style. Detailed imagery describes the distinctive design and engineering of these spacecraft and the facilities where they were maintained and launched. The drama and danger of spaceflight are seen in the wear and tear visible on the Space Shuttle orbiters. The book also chronicles the story of MillerâEUR(TM)s interactions with Space Shuttle workers and the impacts of the Challenger and Columbia accidents.

Between 1978 and 1981, Sophie Calle went on a clandestine exploration of the then abandoned Hotel du Palais d'Orsay. She selected room 501 as her home and without any pre-established method, set about photographing the abandoned hotel over 5 years. As she explored, she picked up items she found: room numbers, customer reception cards, old telephones, diaries, messages addressed to a certain "Oddo" and more besides. What happened to room 501? More than 40 years later it has disappeared and an elevator has taken its place. At the invitation of Donatien Grau, the Musee d'Orsay curator, Sophie Calle returned, equipped with a flashlight, to explore the site again during the lockdown period. She hunted down the ghosts of the Palais d'Orsay, now connected to the present by the visitors that had also deserted the museum. The work reconstructs the artist's archive of photography, letters, invoices and other daily items which bring a forgotten past back to life. To provide commentary on her discoveries, Sophie Calle called upon the archaeologist Jean-Paul Demoule, who writes a series of texts combining fact and fiction. All this evidence has been assembled together to create an objet d'art which resembles an investigation notebook.
