This book is good for bird lovers. This book is not published for study or research purpose. I am not a bird expert. I try to understand bird more personally. Hope you enjoy this book and birds.I used few different cameras in different time. In many occasions I stop walk and wait for a good shot for hours. Most of the birds are wild and few are in cage.Australia and its offshore islands and territories have 898 recorded bird species as of 2014. Australian species range from the tiny 8 cm (3.1 in) weebill to the huge, flightless emu. It has been suggested that up to 10% of Australian bird species may go extinct by the year 2100 as a result of climate change. Many of them have specific beauty, character and habitat. Australia is the home of the best views in the world. The remarkable country road, conservation parks, cliffs, rocks, deserts, farm lands and many more. Hiking/Walking and Bird Watch is closely related. Hiking brings me joy.

The book uses over 600 original plans, new scale drawing, renderings, and photographs to document the armor protection of the Iowa-class battleships. There are measured drawings showing the dimensions of each armor plate on the ship. The book explains how the armor was assembled and illustrates the supporting structures for the armor. Differences among the various ships are shown. Because this book relies on original plans and ship measurements, it corrects many errors about the Iowa-class that circulate in print.

I spent hours in my darkroom developing my photos while Chewy, our cat, waited outside the door.Living in France was truly magical. The things those old buildings have seen and heard. Too bad they can't talk. Getting lost was typically unfortunate for anyone but not for me in Paris. I wandered endlessly and stumbled upon something new every time. Maybe because I knew this was not our permanent home, it made every day much more special.A feeling of awe would wash over me as I walked down an alleyway or some random cobblestone street as I let my mind wander and imagined some of the greatest minds ever had walked these same streets.Of course, we explored the obligatory things one must see and do-Versailles, Provence, Chantilly, etc. But we also visited towns we had never heard of, or someone from work would tell us, "You must see this place," and off we'd go. Sometimes a coin had to be flipped to see if we went left or right. We were never disappointed. It was like discovering something new-the sights, smells, and sounds different from one another-a photographer's paradise.Those were beautiful days that I would never forget; days spent exploring and appreciating the beauty of life all around me through my lens-capturing memories that will last forever in my mind's eye.The photos in this book are just some of the stories I wanted to share. Maybe they'll remind you of vacations taken, that first kiss, or when you walked down those same cobblestone streets or watched the sunset while drinking an espresso at a sidewalk cafe. Comment est-il possible de mettre en pratique la sociologie visuelle et d'utiliser la photo pour rendre compte de différentes réalités sociales ? Ce numéro espère répondre en partie à ces deux questions, et c'est là un défi plus grand qu'il n'y parait, pour la simple raison qu'il n'est pas si évident de faire le tour de tous les repères visuels qui constituent un milieu. Pour le relever, l'équipe du sociologue Pierre Fraser et du linguiste Georges Vignaux s'est rendue dans un marché public et dans une banque alimentaire, l'idée étant, le lecteur l'aura compris, de faire une analyse comparative de ces deux milieux très différents. Et c'est là où la notion de plan rapproché prend toute sa dimension. Si la notion de plan rapproché renvoie à cette idée que le cadrage photographique intime doit rapprocher les personnages du spectateur, permettant à ce dernier de détailler les visages des protagonistes de la scène, en sociologie visuelle, nous dirons plutôt que le plan rapproché met en perspective tous ces repères visuels qui se constituent par la suite en réseaux visuels et en parcours visuels. Concrètement, le plan rapproché permet de mettre l'accent sur ce qui fait repère visuel. Pour rappel, un repère visuel est constitué d'un ensemble de caractéristiques visuelles qui le différencie de tous les autres repères visuels, car il normalise nos comportements, nos conduites, nos jugements, nos attitudes, nos opinions, nos croyances et différencie ce qu'il convient de faire par rapport à la norme dominante.

During the Second World War, Hungary deployed several tank units to support the Axis war effort. The Hungarian army mainly used two types of tanks during the conflict: the Toldi and the Turán in different variants. The Toldi was a Hungarian light tank developed in the 1930s. It was an agile tank suitable for reconnaissance and troop support tasks. The Turán was the first mass-produced Hungarian tank. It was based on the chassis of the Czechoslovak LT vz. 38. However, the light armour made these tanks vulnerable to enemy hits. They were mainly used on the Eastern Front against the Soviet Union.

What began as a relaxing walk has turned into an impressive, long-term photographic observation of this "forest seascape."The pictures she has produced are of an ancient, archaic landscape that has survived for many generations and will continue to survive over many more in the future. Their journey takes them to Foggy Island, a land shrouded in both mist and secrecy. Gaining a grant to study the Island's link to fairy folklore, the two researchers spend a year exploring the uncharted terrain, searching for forgotten relics to illuminate the origins of fairy belief.
