Un viaggio in Cappadocia, nel cuore della Turchia, non è un viaggio qualsiasi. La Cappadocia, con Göreme come suo ombelico è un posto magico, che non può lasciarvi indifferenti. Uno spettacolo per gli occhi, architetture che la natura ha plasmato nei secoli, le guglie che oramai tutti chiamano "i camini delle fate", ma non solo, costruzioni scavate nella roccia, geometrie antiche, un paesaggio che veramente ci riporta indietro al mondo della fantasia e delle favole. Con questo libro descrivo un viaggio, testimonio un percorso fotografico, che da Göreme come epicentro mi ha portato a visitare le tante bellezze della natura di questa terra unica al mondo. Per aumentare il pathos e fissare nella nostra memoria in maniera indelebile, l'esperienza di viaggio in questa terra, c'è il viaggio nel viaggio, quello in mongolfiera. Ogni mattina all'alba partono tutt'attorno a Göreme oltre centocinquanta mongolfiere che permettono a tanti visitatori di godere dello spettacolo dei "camini delle fate" dall'alto, volando in maniera diversa, antica, leggera, senza rumore e senza peso, librando in aria come delle piume, come dei palloncini appunto. La finalità di questo libro è principalmente quella di mostrarvi una galleria di immagini, frutto di questo mio viaggio, nella speranza di farvi venire la voglia di partire a visitare la magica Cappadocia.

The [Masc] We Wear is a self-portrait photo series that explores the boundaries of masculinity within realm of beauty. I am attempting to show that men can retain their manhood while wearing body paint and posing with butterflies. Masculinity exists within the mind of each man and is not directly related to one's outward appearance. Due to the props I am using, you would expect to see a woman in the image, but instead you'll see me. Men can be beautiful as well, and don't have to sacrifice or give up any portion of their virility to prove it.

When you're walking really slowly you start to notice many things that you never saw before, because you were just racing past, maybe even looking at your smartphone. If you take a closer look at your surroundings, you can find faces and creatures everywhere; in scratches, water spills, moss, bark, stones. This phenomenon is called Pareidolia. Some people have difficulties to see the creatures, but with a pair of google eyes at the right spot, they become visible for everyone. In this book I've combined the pictures that I took on my travels through Germany, Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands and the USA with little rhymes. Some of them might make you giggle. There is so much to see if you just open your eyes and look around. Try it out and see the world "with different eyes"! "The next time when you go outside, look for the creatures, cause they hide."

Este álbum contiene 32 fotografías de Venezuela que es un país con muy alta diversidad de paisajes, ecosistemas y especies naturales. También posee una muy amplia diversidad cultural derivada de las oleadas migratorias de personas de todas partes del mundo que a través de la historia han llegado y asumido a este país como su patria de adopción. En la actualidad, Venezuela está inmersa en una profunda crisis social, política y económica producto del intento de instaurar un sistema comunista, pero sobre todo, porque el poder fue tomado por una banda de delincuentes de todo tipo, con fuertes apoyos de regímenes similares y terroristas de otras partes del mundo. Los delincuentes siempre se unen para incrementar y compartir los beneficios de sus actividades entre ellos mismos. Hoy hay más de cinco millones de venezolanos que están dispersos en el mundo debido a la diáspora provocada por el desastre en que está su país. A muchos de ellos les gustará tener un álbum de fotografías de Venezuela para compartirlo con sus nuevos amigos en el mundo y hasta para decorar las paredes de su hogar o de su sitio de trabajo con fotografías de Venezuela. Por eso, en DOCUMENTOS DIGITALES ORIGINALES(R) - DocDigOri(R) decidimos publicar este álbum fotográfico sobre Venezuela, el cual hemos dividido en tres tomos: I.- Paisajes, II.- Elementos de la Naturaleza y III.- Cultura. En el diseño se utilizó la impresión en páginas tamaño carta, impresas hasta el borde y sin añadir ningún texto, ni siquiera los números de página, para permitir que las fotografías puedan ser separadas del álbum para montarlas en cuadros individuales. Cada fotografía tiene impresa en el respaldo la información del título, autor, localidad y fecha. Si bien esta publicación tiene finalidad filantrópica porque el beneficio obtenido por sus ventas será un ingreso de apoyo para una familia venezolana que está tratando de sobrevivir en Venezuela; también tiene un objetivo patriótico porque perseguimos la difusión de las más importantes riquezas de este país que son las bellezas de su patrimonio natural y cultural. Venezuela, cuando logramos salir de esta crisis y superar sus nefastas consecuencias, volverá a ser un gran país.

Yuuma: The Geisha Redux is my second photography book. In these images I am exploring breaking down and re-imagining the geisha aesthetic. Utilizing kimono fabric and traditional geisha props, I aim to show another way of looking at the geisha: a view that is unearthed one image at a time. Interspersed with these images are photos taken at the Chinese Scholar's Garden in Staten Island, NY. While autobiographers use photographs primarily for their illustrative or referential function, photographers have a much more complex interaction with pictures in their autobiographical accounts. This book explores how the visual aspect of a memoir may drastically alter the reader¿s response to the work, but also how, in other cases, the visual parts seem disconnected from the text or underused.

The Simple Pleasure of Bike Ride;Today, people living in the financial city of Mumbai in India, struggling with amplified office life and working hours, like to unleash themselves and participate in activities they find pleasure in.There are people from different businesses and backgrounds who find the common pleasure in motorbike riding and they either ride solo or have incorporated their own riding groups. At times, they take up short rides lasting for a few hours, to riding as long as for 20-25 days across the country or even internationally. The riders, sometimes explore small villages and scenic landscapes en-route.I've covered this series along with my friend, Shubham Walavalkar, at his native, Malvan, a coastal town in the State of Maharashtra, in India. He is 20 years old and is a mass media student, studying at a college in Mumbai, India. This was entirely an unplanned trip to his native, where he usually goes to unleash himself with a bike ride to serene locations, with the simple motive of pleasure.- Sudeep Mehta
