Das Handbuch Krankenhausrecht befasst sich - mit Ausnahme des Arbeitsrechts - mit den typischen rechtlichen Fragestellungen in der Beratung von Krankenhäusern. Dabei geht es zum einen um die klassischen Bereiche wie Krankenhausplanung, Krankenhausfinanzierung und die stationäre Behandlung. Zum anderen werden aber auch die Fragestellungen aufgegriffen, die sich bei der Vielzahl von möglichen ambulanten Behandlungstätigkeiten und Kooperationen mit niedergelassenen Ärzten ergeben. Damit wird das gesamte Tätigkeitsspektrum von Krankenhäusern aus rechtlicher Sicht abgehandelt.
