Plant tissue culture is an important and continually emerging field applied to improve the production, propagation, and conservation of cultivated and wild plant species. This Special Issue of Horticulturae belongs to the section "Propagation and Seeds" and is dedicated to recent developments in in vitro tissue culture technologies and their use in micropropagation, in vitro plant regeneration, and the germplasm conservation of horticultural crops. The papers in this Reprint have been peer reviewed by experts and guest editors and published in Horticulturae in full open access. Metallic implants have attracted a great deal of attention due to their importance in terms of enhancing the quality of human lives and treating human diseases. However, their instability in vivo, caused by corrosion, limited mechanical properties, and poor biocompatibility, remains a great challenge yet to be solved-which is important because the stability of metallic implants is closely associated with the clinical performance of medical implants. This topic has, therefore, attracted increasing levels of attention from researchers in recent decades and the great advances have been achieved. In order to provide a platform to communicate the latest findings of researchers, to broaden understanding and to deepen insights into "advances in the stability of metallic implants", we organized a Special Issue focused on this topic and ten articles have to date been published in the journal Metals. I think they know the exact meaning. Einstein doubted that there would be nothing like the postulated light quanta. But people are cheering for light quanta now. He was probably worried that something else would turn up later, showing that the light quanta were a trick used for the photoelectric effect. Because light is a wave and the energy in the wave cannot converge to a certain point, which he called light quanta. Secondly, he could not say what brings that energy together. What exactly that energy is, and why it depends on the frequency of the light wave, he could not tell. It contains asymmetric electric field which is responsible to produce the photoelectric effect. Any charged particle follows a curved path in asymmetric electric fields. Therefore, magnetic force increases with increase in frequency of the electromagnetic wave which is responsible to produce the photoelectric effect. Also, there is a phase difference of 90 degrees in electric field and magnetic field in electromagnetic. Both can be experimentally proved. Sodium atom emits light wave having near abut 600 crests and troughs. So that electron producing it must vibrate 600 times at one place in the atom. So, if it is moving in orbit, how can produce such long light wave? So, he will say no but gas may be formed from such atoms. Electrons in an atom do not move in orbits. They can hold spin motion, which will cause to increase the magnetic repulsion between the paired electrons, and remain stationary. Iron deficiency (ID) and iron deficiency anemia (IDA) are global problems that affect more than 2 billion people, accounting for significant mortality annually worldwide. Children, girls, and women of reproductive age are particularly vulnerable to ID and IDA due to their high physiological iron demands. The consequences of IDA include deleterious effects on cognition, mental function, work performance, and pregnancy outcomes. The causes of IDA include low iron intake and poor iron bioavailability from ingested foods. Inflammation and human diseases that are associated with high levels of hepcidin (the hormone that regulates the iron efflux protein, ferroportin) due to mutation in a serine protease, TMPRSS6, can also cause iron deficiency. Practical strategies aimed at preventing anemia include iron supplementation and the fortification of foods. Novel iron compounds that are aimed at averting complications such as irritation and inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract are being synthesized. On the other hand, concerns about the mandatory iron fortification of foods in segments of the population that are predisposed to the consequences of excess tissue iron toxicity can be addressed through administration of iron chelators.
