Through exploring the depths of my inner self in segments of mind, body, spirit, environments, and connected relationships it was revealed that we are deeply connected by seen and unseen forces. By just asking "why" to millions of questions over the course of my life I had pushed the limits of what I was able to mentally comprehend and accept I broke mentally. I'd pushed beyond the limits of my design but in doing so I had to rebuild myself from the ground up. I dove into faith because that was the last untapped resource I had not fully accepted. The more I dug into the deeper meaning of scripture the more I was able to decode my human behaviors and align myself with core fundamentals of living a freed life. I'd discovered that true lasting success and power came from living a right life style. I had to fight off my own human nature as well as societal norms to harness peace, love, and joy in this world. The most powerful scripture that blew my mind was Mathew 16:26 "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" To be void at the center of your heart and soul you truly have nothing, and I know because I had it all and lost it all. My purpose in life is to share this information to help anyone who is lost in this world and wants some real answers and solutions for lasting change. This book is a tool to help humans reveal, heal, and then to rebuild yourself and your life so you can then teach others to do the same and live lives worth living. I didn't arrive by taking a traditional route but I arrived nonetheless. Fighting and never losing hope in my creators power, not my own. When you stop asking why and start believing, you then have true faith. Enjoy your journey it's going to be interesting!

It is only unlawful to drive whilst above the prescribed limit of alcohol or be unfit to drive through the amount of alcohol consumed.The prescribed limit also differs around the UK, with Scotland, for example, having a stricter level than England, Wales and Northern Ireland.Prosecutions of suspected drink drivers sometimes fail because the police fail to follow correct procedures.As an ex-police custody sergeant, police trainer and now expert witness, I have conducted in excess of 1000 evidential drink drive procedures, taught officers what they should be doing, and provided courts with reports for what the officers did or did not do.Time and time again prosecutions fail because officers do not comply with basic fundamental principles and practices in law, or lack knowledge and confidence in which procedure they should be following.Law books are available which discuss the legislation and case law but what this book brings to the reader is the holistic safer custody process to safeguard the prosecution and safeguard the detainee, preserving life whilst not losing evidence. I use my experience to draw upon real case examples of how prosecutions have failed against suspected drink drivers.This book is aimed at all police staff from the point of scene attendance, arrest, transport and the custody unit 'station procedures'. Defence and prosecution teams will also find it extremely useful to understand what should have occurred.The book will also review the working relationships between healthcare professionals (HCPs), hospital staff and custody staff.The principles apply to all UK police forces of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and those forces who have adopted the UK standards and expectations. Universal jurisdiction is an established principle in International law. The evolution of legal jurisprudence on fighting impunity developed a basis for the global prosecution of the perpetrators of heinous crimes. Nevertheless, international legal practice disclosed a notable gap concerning the interpretation and application of universal jurisdiction since the diversity of nations' judicial regimes and cultural backgrounds prevented the creation of a unified global understanding of universal jurisdiction. It is a problematic status that frustrated universal endeavours to prosecute serious criminals and achieve justice. This gap is glaring particularly in the Western judicial practices regarding atrocities committed within Arab territories since 2011.In this aspect, this book studies the Arab jurisprudence on universal jurisdiction to conclude its main feature and compares it with the features of the Western interpretation of this principle. The comparison contributes to determining the gap between these identified legal systems and then concluding the chief landmarks of the legal vacuum created between them. It reviews the main causes of this vacuum and its dire consequences on international justice. Through this methodology, the book suggests a multi-dimensional solution to the dilemma which settles the legal disputes aroused by the diversity in understanding universal jurisdiction. What is 'translation'? Even as the scholarly viewpoint of translation studies has expanded over recent years, the notion of 'translation' has remained fixedly defined by its interlinguistic element. However, there are many different contexts and disciplines in which translation takes place for which this definition is entirely unsuitable.Exploring translational aspects in contexts in which scholars do not think about 'translation', this book considers the alternative uses of the term beyond the interlinguistic dimension. Taking our understanding of 'translation' back to its basic semiotic principles, leading experts outline the wide variety of alternative fields of study, practices, applications and contexts in which the term 'translation' is used. Tort Law and the Construction of Change studies the interaction of law and social change in American history. Tort law--civil law made by judges, not legislators--is traditionally thought to arise out of legal precedent. But Kenneth S. Abraham and G. Edward White show that American judges over the course of the previous two centuries also paid close attention to changing societal contexts in which lawsuits for civil injuries arose. They argue that two versions of history-one grounded in the application of previous legal rules and the other responsive to larger societal changes--must be considered in tandem to grasp fully how American civil law has evolved over time. In five fascinating chapters, they cover understudied areas of tort law, such as liability for nonphysical harm--including lawsuits for defamation, privacy, emotional distress, sexual harassment, and the hacking of confidential information--and aspects of tort litigation that have now disappeared, such as the prohibition against "interested" parties testifying in civil actions or the intentional infliction of temporal damage without justification. What emerges is a picture of the complicated legal dance American judges performed to cloak their decisions to make at times radical changes in tort law in response to social transformations.
