Die Arbeit befasst sich mit dem praxisrelevanten Thema der Ablösung von arbeitgeberfinanzierten Versorgungszusagen. Ähnlich wie die Anpassungen von staatlichen Rentensystemen stellen Veränderungen von betrieblichen Rentensystemen für Arbeitgeber eine enorme Herausforderung dar. Die Arbeit analysiert und systematisiert die formellen sowie die materiellen Voraussetzungen zur Anpassung von Versorgungszusagen aus Gesetz und Rechtsprechung. Zusammenfassend findet ein Ebenenvergleich zwischen den verschiedenen Rechtsgrundlagen und den Anforderungen der Rechtsprechung zur jeweiligen Ablösung.
