On Different Levels is a book containing four short stories each, with their own level of sanity versus insanity. One might take the villain's side or vice versa. In some parts of this book, you may see a certain reality, one you may fear or relish. I do hope you'll have fun reading.

These stories are purely fiction and imaginary. Most of the plots come from dreams and/or the authors fascination with aliens. The book took over two years to write. The author hopes these stories inspire others to write and utilize their imaginations. Some of these stories were connected to the authors sculptures.

This story was an idea that started years ago when my twin boys spent the summer with their grandmother in North Carolina. With gangs very prominent in our lives, we were shipped off to Michigan. Combining all this, I created my composite of Bobby. As for Gus, he was created to be a catalysis to provide Bobby with a path, and being a goose, he would be the most unusual messenger.

This book was inspired by my six-year-old son Alexander. He likes the stories very much and thinks that other children will too. As a result, I decided to write this book so that it could be enjoyed by children around the world. Information about the wildlife is factual, and the stories are based on the Author's experiences growing up as a boy in Guyana in the nineteen fifties. A lot of the wildlife in the book are becoming extinct, and I encourage children to talk to their parents and do whatever they can to preserve our environment for future generations. This book is both entertaining and educational, and I hope that your children enjoy it as much as Alexander!

Jock and Lassie are West Highland Terriers who live with the author and her husband on Waiheke Island, which lies about twenty kilometres offshore from Auckland, New Zealand.
