This NEW book exhibits a rich history of a Native American creation story which is among the thousands of accounts for the origins of our world. Native Americans have the ability to seek spiritual power in the natural world which allows for a deeper understanding of the connections that all beings have with each other. Native American origin stories are rooted in mystery and legend. Most stories are passed down orally from generation to generation focusing on children. Did you know that all Native American cultures offer many creation legends? Ideas and stories about the beginning of the world are all so different but all lead to the same conclusion that we are all related. "We must teach the children about nature and relationships at an early age in order for them to be able to develop rich and meaningful thinking and decisions". Come along on this fun story written by a member of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Indian Tribe, Tyrese Gould Jacinto, that tells about our creation. Native American stories are always told to the children, not only keep history, but it allows them to use their great imagination about subjects that have deep hidden meanings of the way things really are. This story is great for all ages! The main subject of this story is Kishelëmukònk Ahkanshi Kshitay which means The Creators Great Soup in Lenape. With great illustrations to accompany the story, you will be inspired to "contemplate the universe" and how we are related to everything that was created.

The Fairy Books, or "Coloured" Fairy Books is a collection of fairy tales divided into twelve books, each associated with a different colour. Collected together by Andrew Land they are sourced from a number of different countries and were translated by Lang's wife and other translators who also retold many of the tales. The collection has been incalculably important and, although he did not source the stories himself direct from the oral tradition he can make claim to the first English translation of many. First published in 1903, The Crimson Fairy Book is the 8th volume in this series.

As the stalwart light of the once-great Kingdom of Solas begins to darken, as magic leaves the land and beasts of the night take their roost, the last of the kingdom's people begin their desperate journey in search of a new day. These are the unfortunate histories that lead to the fall of the Castle of Spirals, the end of an age of wonders, and the lives of the good few that continued their endless struggle in the face of such overwhelming shadows. The stories in this book are not for those seeking tales of a happy end or meaning in the abyss, they are simple accounts of the humans, fae, and magical beasts that were there to witness as all was ground to dust. For those of you brave enough to venture to this lost land, I welcome you with a heavy heart to the isle, the land of spirals.
