The book Kingdoms in the Heart of Africa constitutes a thrilling tale of four fictitious prominent kingdoms that dominated the region called the heart of Africa. The four kingdoms: Mbantuu kingdom, Utanne kingdom, Shanaba kingdom and Manaka kingdom were in constant competition with each other. The book explores the power dynamics that dominated the relations between these kingdoms as they compete for the position of dominance in the region. Each of the kingdoms was headed by a powerful king except for the kingdom of Shanaba kingdom, which was headed by queen Edonge, who was considered to be the goddess of Africa. Due to this, suspicion prevailed amongst the kingdoms, resulting in secret plots and alliances forming between the different kingdoms. Despite the tension, division and conflict that beset the region, in these kingdoms, vast masses of minerals that had never been discovered before in other parts of the world were found. This attracted foreign interest in the region, whose sole quest was to conquer the region, an issue the kingdoms were oblivious to. The rise of these kingdoms propelled Africa to a place of prominence in the world.

The story of Nyango: The Girl with Healing Powers captures the life of a young girl named Nyango, born with the ability to heal. Her mother died while giving birth to her and she was raised by her grandmother, Sumediang, who was a renowned healer in their village. Sumediang's inability to cure the son of the village's chief led the chief to banish her from the village. The decision to expel Sumediang from the village - and with her, Nyango - led to major changes in the young girl's life. The book explores how Nyango and her grandmother struggled with life after they departed their village. It portrays how Nyango tried to reconcile her life as a healer with growing up as a young girl.

The Adventures of Ajale and His Friends is a book that is centred on the life of a ten-year-old boy named Ajale and his three friends, Menyinge, Meniake and Wangtuge. It explores how the boys under the leadership of Ajale navigate life in their small remote village in the central part of Africa. Driven by Ajale's curiosity and investigative instincts, the boys are determined to go the extra mile to unravel mysteries that beset their village which at times led them into dangerous situations. This includes solving the problem of theft in their village, rescuing Ajale's cousin, Bahki, from an arranged marriage, and saving the Ewang dance group from a sabotage attack. This book provides a captivating and thrilling insight into the lives of the four boys.
