Approx. 650 biographical entries including exeptional scientists from several
parts of agronomy and botany, i.e. soil science, plant nutrition, plant cultivation, plant protection, etc. with temporal emphasis, on the 19th and 20th century. The work is limited to german speaking and middle european countries, but also comprehends biographies of foreign scientists, who influenced agronomy with german speaking publications. Living persons are not included. Structure of the articles: name, dates and places of birth and death, biography, literature on the person (bibliography).
